Buku Belajar Konsep Bilangan dan Operasinya

Pada tulisan yang lalu, Sebab Terbesar Terjadinya Darurat Matematika di Indonesia diantaranya adalah pemikiran kebanyakan orang tua yang menginginkan anaknya sejak dini untuk bisa berhitung tanpa melihat bagaimana perkembangannya, cepat ataukah lambat ia dalam memahami sesuatu. Anak harus dibiarkan bermain, jangan dipaksa belajar. Bermain sambil belajar, atau sebaliknya.

Belajar berhitung dilakukan secara natural, tidak dengan memberi pelajaran yang terkesan formal misalnya mengajarkan mereka untuk bisa mencacah bilangan dan bisa menuliskan angka-angkanya. Tetapi, cukup dengan mengenalkan mereka konsep bilangan seperti mengajak mereka melompat sambil berhitung dari 1, 2, dan 3, mengajak mereka memilih kue yang lebih banyak dari lainnya, dsb. Jadi, anak diajak untuk bernalar. Adapun menghapal dilakukan setelah anak sudah memiliki daya ingat yang baik sehingga nantinya bisa mengurutkan bilangan dari 1, 2, 3 sampai seterusnya. Saya telah mencoba mengajari anak usia tiga tahun ke bawah, anak tersebut belum mampu mengurutkan bilangan dan juga belum mampu menentukan banyaknya suatu benda.

Selain dari masalah itu, para orang tua dan anaknya menginginkan bisa mendapat nilai yang bagus, lulus, juara teratas, sehingga mereka belajar hanya bagaimana mereka dapat menjawab soal, meski tidak tahu konsepnya. Mereka hanya menghapal prosedur bagaimana mengerjakan soalnya saja tanpa tahu mengapa prosedur itu dilakukan. Alhasil, terjadilah apa yang terjadi, kemampuan rata-rata anak di Indonesia rendah dari SD hingga SMA dalam hal berpikir atau bernalar matematika.

Buku Belajar Konsep Bilangan dan Operasinya. Bilangan adalah konsep matematika yang digunakan untuk pencacahan dan pengukuran. Simbol atau lambang yang digunakan untuk mewakili suatu bilangan disebut sebagai angka. Dalam matematika, konsep bilangan selama bertahun-tahun lamanya telah diperluas dari bilangan asli, bilangan negatif, bilangan rasional, bilangan irasional, hingga bilangan kompleks.

Prosedur-prosedur tertentu yang mengambil bilangan sebagai masukan dan menghasilkan bilangan lainnya sebagai keluran, disebut sebagai operasi numeris. Ada Operasi uner yang mengambil satu masukan bilangan dan menghasilkan satu keluaran bilangan.

Operasi yang lebih umumnya ditemukan adalah operasi biner, yang mengambil dua bilangan sebagai masukan dan menghasilkan satu bilangan sebagai keluaran. Contoh operasi biner adalah penjumlahan, pengurangan, perkalian, pembagian, perpangkatan, dan perakaran. Bidang matematika yang mengkaji operasi numeris disebut sebagai aritmetika.

Kalian akan mempelajari tentang konsep bilangan dan operasinya dalam buku ini yang ditulis untuk belajar Matematika SMP yang fokus pada pemahaman konsep.

  5. Kemampuan menggunakan, memanfaatkan, dan memilih prosedur atau operasi tertentu.
  6. Kemampuan mengaplikasikan konsep bilangan atau algoritma pemecahan masalah.
  7. Kemampuan mengembangkan syarat perlu dan cukup suatu konsep bilangan.
Daftar Isi. Buku ini ditulis bagi siapa saja yang ingin belajar bilangan dan operasinya selevel Matematika SMP walaupun kalian telah mempelajari bilangan pada materi kelas VII pada judul bab Bilangan. Tetapi, pembahasan pada bab tersebut hanya tentang bilangan bulat dan bilangan pecahan beserta operasinya. Adapun, dalam buku ini, kalian akan belajar bilangan dari bilangan asli hingga bilangan real. Belajar operasinya tidak hanya pada operasi dasar, tetapi juga opersi lainnya. Selain itu, buku ini dilengkapi dengan materi olimpiade yang berhubungan dengan bilangan yang pembahasannya dibuat selevel Matematika SMP.
